Capacity Strengthening in Technical Assistance

MCH-STAR will support and strengthen systems within the SSIs so that they position themselves as recognized providers of responsive, high quality technical assistance in the area of MNCHN for the government, civil society, donors, and private sector (responsive TA).

Assessments found that SSIs could benefit from improved institutional systems, procedures, and templates for more efficient proposal development in response to RFPs, electronic methods of seeking new TA opportunities, computerized consultant databases, and grants and contracts management systems.
