Proposal Development

MCH-STAR conducted a proposal writing workshop 12 – 16 May 2008 in Delhi. Facilitators comprised of a team from Boston University and the MCH-STAR core team. The workshop began with theoretical discussions on various aspects of proposal writing, and progressed to small group activities working on actual proposals, with support from the facilitators.

The workshop also included a panel discussion where several donors and reviewers shared their insights into what they look for in quality proposals. There was also a session on the “Ethics Committee” requirements presented by an expert in India on Research Ethics.
